To help us continue our commitment to making a real difference, we are currently looking for an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING SERVICES (ADNS) to assist the Director of Nursing Services with clinical oversight and support of services provided to our residents within our organization, spreading over 8 states, and over 55+ skilled nursing, assisted and independent living centers.

JOB SUMMARY:
Transitional Care Center of Seattle is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing Services to help lead clinical services and support our Center. The candidate will be an RN and will be part of our 100% Employee Owned skilled nursing facility in Seattle!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Works collaboratively with members of the healthcare team. Maintains standards of professional nursing practice.
  • Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Keeps resident family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health.
  • Modifies resident care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with resident changes in condition.
  • Completes Quality Assurance audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Required RN license for the state of Washington, or ability to obtain a license before starting work
  • Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Preferred Prior experience in direct resident care in a long term healthcare setting
  • Preferred One or more years psychiatric nursing experience
  • Preferred Behavioral health setting experience
